Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Brandon Dill will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen J. and Norma Kay Sargent.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Sheila Sargent; children, Joe Sargent, Bruce Sargent (Bridget), Jennifer Rosato (Charles), Janene Symms (Jay), Patrick Sargent (Malorie) and Jesse Sargent; grandchildren, Joanna Sargent, Trey Sargent (Kasie), Blake Walters, Morgan Minor, Madison Gwin, Will Symms, Ava Sargent, Troy Rosato and Jack Sargent; great-grandchild, Cooper Bee Sargent; brothers, Don Sargent (JoAnn) and David Sargent (Jean); sisters, Shirley Sargent and Brenda Sargent; and several nieces and nephews.
