The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Townley Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Townley Church of God, with burial at Files Cemetery. Larry Trotter and Dale Jacks will officiate.
Guthrie is survived by his wife, Sherrell Fay Guthrie of Jasper; daughters, Rita Fay Johnson of Jasper and Melissa Kay Rhodes of Dora; son, Billy Ray Guthrie of Jasper; brother, Hedra Guthrie of Jasper; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
