The fundraiser is always held the first Saturday in April. Proceeds benefit Community Options, a local nonprofit that currently has two residential facilities for four young adults with autism.
Registration for the ride will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. today at Parkland Shopping Center in Jasper.
Kickstands go up at 10 a.m.
Donations are accepted in lieu of a registration fee.
“I actually tell people that if you don’t have the money to give, come out and ride with us anyway,” said Jimmy Gunter, executive director of Community Options.
All participants will also receive a chance to win a one-week vacation to Orange Beach.
This year’s route includes stops at Walker County Lake and Handley’s Western Wear. The ride finishes at Curry Church of God at noon.
Awards will be given for the top three bikes. Lunch will also be served.
