The Walker County Farmer's Market had their opening day for the farming season on Saturday. Fresh fruit, vegetables and goods were available for purchase, and farmers reported a steady crowd of shoppers. The farmers market will be open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.
