A one-vehicle accident involving a truck striking a power pole on Gamble Avenue knocked out power along Viking Drive approximately one hour before Jasper High School's homecoming parade is set to begin. Power was lost at the Eagle office around 11:40 a.m. and restored at 12:10 p.m.
