The Alabama Department of Education has stated its intent to revoke former Carbon Hill Elementary/Jr. High Principal Tanya Guin’s educator certification. In a letter sent to Guin and the Walker County Board of Education, State Educator Certification Officer Shavon Cummings said the state department of education’s proposed action could include revocation and non-renewal of Guin’s Alabama Professional Leadership Certification and Alabama Professional Educator Certification. more
