This year’s ‘Festival of Lights’ in downtown Jasper held a special tree lighting ceremony Friday night, with hundreds of people from across the county in attendance. Proceeds from the festival, which includes more than 60 beautifully decorated Christmas trees on the courthouse square, go to Hope for Women, a local faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping residents live an alcohol and drug- free lifestyle.
