Representatives from Argo, Boldo, Carbon Hill, Curry, Dora, Nauvoo and Oakman volunteer fire departments received pet oxygen mask kits from Invisible Fence Brand representative Michael Yelland during the Walker County Firefighters Association’s meeting held Tuesday, Nov. 8. The kits are part of the Wag’N O2 Fur Life Program and are being provided to the local fire departments through funding by the Walker County Humane Society. The kits contain three different specifically designed animal masks, which can be used on conscious pets that have suffered from smoke inhalation or on pets that need to be resuscitated following a fire. more
