Members of Forward Farm’s Jasper Equestrian Team (JETS) recently placed in a state 4-H competition. Annelise Hulsey, Savannah Huffman and Emma Grace Sherer all placed at the state 4-H show in Rainsville that was held July 7-9. They are all members of the Forward Horse Club, which Walker County Extension Office Agent Rebecca Persons oversees as part of the 4-H and Youth Development division. more
The Walker County Commission reviewed for local mayors recently how the proposed 1-cent sales tax on the Aug. 15 referendum will be spent if voters approve it.
