Camp McDowell recently hosted a leadership training day for the chapter FFA officers of the Walker County School System. Students from Cordova, Curry, Dora, Oakman and the Walker County Center of Technology participated in the event. State FFA President Will Aycock encouraged local chapter officers to step out of their comfort zone and to never be afraid to ask for help. The Walker County Farmers Federation sponsored the event. The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
