The Jasper Public Library is currently displaying a portion of the classic car collection of Johnnie Shumate. Shumate, the proud owner of a 1958 Ford Fairlane 500, collects model cars, gas pumps, vintage signs and vintage car memorabilia. The collection will be on display through the end of February.

Dancers from Athletic Arts Center were invited to perform and take workshops at the Alabama Dance Festival at the School of Fine Arts. The group performed a piece called "Becoming Me" performed to Bohemian Rhapsody and choreographed by Maria Ross-Campsey.
