Habitat for Humanity volunteers were in Parrish this week to make several major repairs to a veteran's home. The structure, an old gas station on Main Drive that has been converted into a residence, needed a new roof, wood replaced on an exterior wall and a new coat of paint. The volunteers were students at the University of Illinois and members of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.
