Lupton Jr. High School hosted a STEM Family Night and Art Show Monday night. Students had the opportunity to showcase a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) projects they had completed, and student art was on display and available for purchase.  Children also had a chance to participate in STEM projects Monday.

Ashley and Jeremy Harbin of Harbins in downtown Jasper recently worked with Pre-K students at T.R. Simmons Elementary to teach gardening skills, in honor of this week's Earth Day celebrations. "They’ve been learning about flowers and taking care of our Earth," the Harbins wrote on Facebook. "We helped wrap up this unit by painting garden rocks, planting flowers, and cleaning up around the playground."
